BROADPOINT ANNOUNCES BRYAN OLIVIER AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

HOUSTON (AUGUST 12, 2008) – Broadpoint, a full-service telecommunications and network solutions company, has announced Bryan Olivier as its chief operating officer. Bryan Olivier has more than 27 years of experience in management, engineering and network operations at leading companies in the telecommunications and energy industries.

“Bryan’s experience gives him extensive technical expertise that will be invaluable to our company,” said Errol Olivier, president and CEO of Broadpoint. “His leadership will not only bring new products and services to Broadpoint’s customers, but also streamline our existing operations.”

Along with other initiatives, Bryan Olivier will focus on expanding Broadpoint’s reliable, costeffective wireless communication solutions, including its digital cellular infrastructure in the Gulf of Mexico.

Bryan Olivier, who most recently served as chief operating officer at CapRock Communications, Inc., began his career with a nine year tenure at Tenneco Oil E&P, where he was responsible for maintaining both domestic and international microwave and satellite systems. He has also served as chief technology officer of Clearwire, a national wireless broadband service provider, where he was responsible for overseeing operations, engineering and product development.

Prior to Clearwire, Bryan Olivier served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at NovoLink Communications, an international VoIP service provider. In that capacity, he oversaw service delivery, engineering, software development and traffic management and long-term strategic planning.

Bryan Olivier is also the author of The Evolution of VSAT Networks and received a master’s degree in business administration in finance and organizational behavior from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
