Description:
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for utilizing advanced business selling techniques to obtain results through the sale and lease of Broadpoint’s wireless products. The AE is responsible for meeting revenue targets as well as ensuring high quality customer relations and retention.
This AE will be assigned the company’s most important large growth opportunities. This may include existing accounts and high growth prospects. The AE is expected to work closely with all other functions of the company to understand the customer demands and ensure the company responds with the right products and support.
The AE is expected to be the customer advocate and proactively plan and report on specific growth plans and opportunities.
Responsibilities include:

Consistently meet/exceed revenue and quota targets,
-
Utilize solution selling techniques and processes to maximize the business relationship and opportunity with assigned prospects and customers,
-
Responsible for new business, account penetration, and retention,
-
Proactively seeks opportunities to sell voice/data solutions to existing customers and prospects,
-
Set/develop customer expectations that align with the Broadpoint’s goals and objectives,
-
Effectively plan and manage assigned accounts to maximize potential and revenue and to ensure customer satisfaction and retention,
-
Assist in the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs),
-
Prepare and present professional corporate business proposals and presentations to corporate business executives,
-
Ensure positive and professional interaction with internal and external customers on issues,
-
Handle and assist in the resolution of customer issues,
-
Responsible for reporting competitive technology development and pricing to management,
-
Demonstrate team orientation
-
Maintain a professional image and work environment,
-
Responsible for following documented processes,
-
Ability to use Microsoft suite as well as other computer software packages,
-
Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce.com) program on a weekly basis,
-
Keep abreast of new technologies and platforms in the satellite and cellular industries and the economics of wireless communications solutions,
-
Responsibility for continuous self-education in order to maintain a broad knowledge of wireless solutions, rate plans, products, services and selling skills,

Attend all required sales meetings and training sessions,
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
