Neka Hicks came to Broadpoint in 2009 and currently holds the role of Network Technical Director.  He is responsible for broadening Broadpoint’s platform of telecommunications and network solutions, from idea generation to operations development and deployment. Hicks has more than 14 years of experience as a senior manager and telecommunications engineer and is known for fostering an environment of innovation and success.

Prior to joining Broadpoint, Hicks worked as the Chief Technology Officer for Novolink Communications where he was responsible for network engineering, technology deployment, operations, software development and information technology. He also served in senior positions at Clearwire Technologies, CapRock Communications and IWL Communications.

Hicks is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology.

Hicks holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a concentration in telecommunications from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
